The UPC Scanner is a tool in ALQEN that:
Matches products from your supplier lists to Amazon and Walmart
Uses UPC codes and prices from your supplier's list
Gives you the latest information about these products on both sites
Helps you see which products could make you money
Types of Scans
You can do three types of scans with the UPC Scanner:
Amazon only: Checks just Amazon
Walmart only: Checks just Walmart
Dual scan: Checks both Amazon and Walmart at the same time
The Amazon and Walmart scans are great if you're focusing on one platform. The dual scan lets you compare which site might be better for selling each product. This helps you decide where to list your items for the best results.
How to Use the UPC Scanner
1. Get Your Product List Ready
Make sure your list has UPC codes and prices
You can get a sample list from ALQEN to see how it should look
2. Upload Your File
Go to the UPC Scanner page
Click "Upload File" and choose your list
Tell ALQEN which columns have the UPC codes and prices
Start the scan
3. Check Your Scan History
Go to Scan History to see all your past scans
You can filter them, delete them, or run them again
4. Look at Your Results
Click on a scan to see what it found
Use the fee calculation menu to add your costs (like shipping and taxes)
Choose how you'll sell (like FBA or FBM) to get better profit estimate
Use Filters and Save Views
Set up filters to find the best products
Save your filters as a "view" to use them again later
Use the Product Quick View
Click on a product to see more details
You'll see things like the buy box price, fees, ratings, and sales rank
For Walmart products, you'll also see supply cost and competition
