Setting up your Product Scanner the right way can help you find good products faster. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Find Your Settings

  1. Go to the main Product Scanner page.

  2. Look for "Settings" in the top right corner and click it.

Step 2: Choose Your Region (Alpha Testers Only)

  1. In Settings, find the region dropdown menu.

  2. Pick where your Amazon or Walmart store is.

Note: For now, Amazon and Walmart only works in the USA. Alpha Testers will have access to this feature. Regions are based on what your Amazon/Walmart account currently support.

Step 3: Make Numbers Look Right (Alpha Testers Only)

  1. Choose how you want numbers to look:

    • Pick "Local Format" if you want numbers to look like they do in your country.

    • Pick "North American Standards" if you want numbers to look like they do in the USA.

Step 4: Block Brands You Don't Want

  1. To keep out brands you don't want to see:

    • Type in brand names one by one, or

    • Upload a list of brands from a file.

Step 5: Block Specific Products

  1. To keep out certain products:

    • Type in product IDs one by one, or

    • Upload a list of product IDs from a file.

Step 6: Fix Multipack Products

Sometimes you need to sell more than one of an item in a pack.

  1. For each product that comes in a multipack:

    • Type in the product ID and how many are in a pack, or

    • Upload a file with this information.

Example: If you sell cups in packs of 6, but your supplier sells them in packs of 3, you'd put 2 as the multipack number.

Step 7: Hide Products Not Found on Amazon or Walmart

If you don't want to see products that aren't on Amazon or Walmart:

  1. Turn on the switch to hide these products.
