Setting up your Product Scanner the right way can help you find good products faster. Here's how to do it:
Find Your Settings
Go to the main Product Scanner page.
Look for "Settings" in the top right corner and click it.
Note: For now, Amazon and Walmart only supports the North America region.
Customize Your Number Formatting
Decide how you want prices and other numbers to appear:
Local Format: Uses your browser’s language settings for decimals and separators—so if you’re in a region where commas replace decimal points, you’ll see that reflected here.
North American Standard: Follows typical U.S. conventions, using decimal points and commas (e.g., “1,234.56”).
Block Brands You Don't Want
To keep out brands you don't want to see:
Type in brand names one by one, or
Upload a list of brands from a file.
Block Specific Products
To keep out certain products:
Type in product IDs one by one, or
Upload a list of product IDs from a file.
Fix Multipack Products
Sometimes you need to sell more than one of an item in a pack. You can now control how multipacks are applied in two ways—manually or automatically—giving you the flexibility to handle unique items and large catalogs alike.
💡Example: If you sell cups in packs of 6, but your supplier sells them in packs of 3, you'd put 2 as the multipack number.
Manual Multipack Corrections
Ideal if you want full control over every multipack scenario.
For each product that comes in a multipack:
Type in the product ID and how many are in a pack, or
Upload a file with this information.
Smart (a.k.a "Automatic") Multipack Corrections
Great for streamlining your workflow, especially if you have many products that follow similar naming patterns.
📌 Note: You can enable one or both options, depending on whether you prefer a hands-on approach, automated detection, or a combination of both. Manual corrections will override smart corrections.
Hide Products Not Found on Amazon or Walmart
If you don't want to see products that aren't on Amazon or Walmart:
Turn on the switch to hide these products.
