Amazon Identification

Term

Definition

Product ID

The Product ID that you have entered in your scan.

Parent ASIN

The ASIN of the main product when the listing includes variations such as different sizes or colors.

ASIN

Amazon Standard Identification Number; a unique 10-character alphanumeric identifier assigned by Amazon to a product.

UPC

Universal Product Code; a unique barcode used universally to track products in stores and online.

Buy Box Price

The price of the product offered in the Buy Box on Amazon, which is the featured buying option on a product detail page.

Product Cost

The cost to purchase a single unit of the product from the supplier.

Sell Price

The price at which the product is listed for sale on Amazon.

Net Profit

The estimated earnings from a sale after all costs and expenses (including taxes) are subtracted.

Net Margin

The percentage of the selling price that is net profit.

ROI

Return on Investment; calculated as (Net Profit / Cost) * 100, representing the profitability relative to the cost of the product.

Tax %

The percentage of sales tax applied to the product.

Tax $

The dollar amount of sales tax added to the product's price.

Cost Sub Total

Total fees charged by Amazon, including referral fees and any fulfillment fees.

Seller Proceeds

The amount received by the seller after all Amazon fees are deducted from the selling price.

FBA Fee

The fee charged by Amazon for handling fulfillment logistics under its FBA program.

Referral Fee

The fee Amazon charges per sale, typically a percentage of the transaction based on the product category.

Inbound Shipping Estimate

Estimated cost for shipping the product to an Amazon fulfillment center.

Storage Fee

Fees charged by Amazon for storing products in their fulfillment centers, applicable under FBA.

Lowest FBA Price

The lowest price offered by sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon for the product.

Lowest FBM Price

The lowest price offered by sellers using Fulfillment by Merchant for the product.

Term

Definition

Product Title

The title of the product as it appears on Amazon.

Brand

The name of the company that manufactures or markets the product.

Brand Restriction

Indicates whether the product has had intellectual property complaints against it

Package Quantity

The number of items included in a single package or bundle on Amazon.

Multipack Quantity

Indicates how many total items are in a multipack, if applicable.

BSR

Best Sellers Rank; indicates the sales performance of the product within its category, with a lower number indicating higher sales.

Category

The Amazon category under which the product is listed.

Color

The color specification of the product, which helps in distinguishing between different variations.

Model Number

The manufacturer's identifier for a specific model of the product.

Custom Notes

Notes added by the user about specific details or experiences with the product.

Dimensions

Physical measurements of the product (length, width, height).

Variation Count

The number of different variations (like size, color) available under the same Parent ASIN.

FBA Offers

The number of offers from sellers who use Fulfillment by Amazon for the product.

FBM Offers

The number of offers from sellers who fulfill orders themselves (Fulfillment by Merchant).

Competitive Sellers

The number of sellers currently offering the product at competitive prices.
